The Story
Pamela and David Montoya have been together over 50 years. They are proud parents to 5 daughters and 7 grandchildren.
It all started in 1968 – They had English class together, he was sitting in the next aisle in front, and she was sitting toward the back. He turned and smiled at her.
Sadie Hawkins Day sparked the idea to celebrate girls asking guys on dates instead of the stereotypical other way around. She asked him to go roller skating. Neither of them drove, so they double dated with David’s cousin Ralph.
They dated for three years in high school and were married the end of their junior year. WOW…SO CRAZY!!
They were married by Judge Blackhurst at his home at 7:00am on April 13,1970. They were married by Father Mike Shea on April 21, 1990.

In celebration of their 20 year anniversary, Pamela and David were married in the catholic church and had the wedding celebration they missed in 1970.

Emilio Marcelino Houghton was born December 28, 2009
Alma Rose Houghton was born December 4, 2011
Eva Lucia Wall was born January 17, 2014
Esequiel Moses Montoya was born April 10, 2015
Paolo Nicolas Houghton was born July 13, 2015
